I took my dad to UAB Kirkland Clinic. The Dr said that is crazy. But the bladder neck has now formed around the cath. It's a one day stay. Pulled out cath and cut the scar tissue around bladder. Where urethra enters. Perfect. No more cath
My dad went to this guy 16 years ago. Had a small procedure. Left cath in to long. W by back in Fossum said "O we can't take it out. Been in to long". Why did they leave it in? And then couldn't take out.
Dr. Fossum is amazing and has seen multiple family members of mine. He truly listens and tries to help his patients. When discussing a patient's problem he goes over all of the options thoroughly. He does not push surgery if he thinks the problem may be treated with a less invasive treatment. My dad was in the hospital for a spinal problem, and when Dr. Fossum saw his name on the hospital list he came by to visit and make sure he was doing well. He is truly a very caring physician.
If you want a vasectomy from this dr, I would think twice. He'll talk to you how the procedure will go, 1 valium to relax you, ah he'll explain about pain medication after procedure. I'm tattooed on my legs and after the surgery he didn't give me any painkillers. I bruised really bad. He cut something that made me swell. Called my regular doctor to give me painkillers because the pain. Think before coming here. If you are tattooed up, I wouldn't waste my time. Go somewhere else. Its been a year now and all is well. If I had to do it again, I will find somebody else.

This was 15 years ago. He was a quack then. In surprise he hadn't been sued.
He doesn't care about his patients. I'm a very active 30 yr old on the low end of the "normal" (343 total T) range and he refused treatment because he said "you look like you would abuse it because you look like a bodybuilder". Even though that moron failed to ignore the symptoms I've expressed added to my low levels are straight shooter signs of low T. The fact he gave me that excuse says a lot about him.
