This downtown classic dive has everything you want. Great selection, great staff, billiards, live shows, nice bathrooms, and oh yea, a brand new Whiskey bar out back next to their outdoor deck. A real legit whiskey bar with all the trimmings and extras you'd expect to find if you were at a Whiskey bar in old Chicago...
This place has gone downhill pretty quickly in the past couple months. It's like they've forgotten that they're customer service. They do their pre-closing really early, I've been told to pour my drink into a plastic cup half an hour before close so they could clean the glass. Their security, Gus, is downright rude. When it comes down to it, you don't feel welcome here. I'd suggest checking out KC's or Salty Duck.
Spacious bar, there's a stage for live music, and a couple of pool tables. There's a bar in back with a nice deck offering craft cocktails
Fair prices on drinks. Try rhere bloody mary worh Guinness its amazing. ❤
Coasters is a laid back spot for those who want to hit up the local beer scene without the noise and crowds. Respectable array of local and domestic beers. Friendly and very informative staff.
