Stayed here for Emerald Coast Con. Very nice hotel overall. Awesome pool and nice staff. The room was a regular hotel room, had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Right on the beach. We had a beach balcony, the sun was in our eyes all day but absolutely beautiful in the morning and evenings. They have room service, a cafe, and a grill.
I'm literally at this hotel right now, laying in bed, listening to a bunch of noise! The a.c unit is louder than a train, but if I turn it off all I hear is all the people screaming at the pool and hallways. Most noise I've ever heard in a hotel. My kids can't sleep. Carpet is disgusting, bathroom was not cleaned and when you turn the light on it makes a very loud humming noise that won't stop. Hands down the worst place we've ever stayed. Oh, and everyone here is drinking non stop... not family friendly. We do not recommend!!!
Beautiful resort! The housekeepers, Thelma and Lulu are awesome! Enjoyed meeting and interacting with them. All the staff is very nice. Really enjoyed our stay just not long enough.
Hard to argue with what you get for the price here. The rooms were clean, the people were very nice, and the access to the beach was fantastic. If you are more inclined to stay by the pool, they have a heated shallower pool and a non-heated larger/deeper pool. The only negatives are very small bathrooms, and we thought the breakfast buffet was overpriced, but the room rate more than makes up for it. They have one of the only beach bars in the area also. Enjoy!
I had the unfortunate displeasure of staying here for a wedding. Typically, I wouldn't choose a hotel like this, but I opted to stay here due to the convenience. The room is definitely dated and is in need of serious upgrades. Maintenance had to come to fix the door and the lights on two separate occasions. The worst part was the bugs. Small unidentifiable ones, mosquitoes, and even a roach. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. There's a Hampton inn literally right down the street. Stay there instead.
