I stayed here during a symposium at the convention center. The hotel is new and quite accommodating. It has a very nice outdoor fire pit, which works well in the fall. The rooms were spacious, clean, and welcoming. The staff was efficient and friendly also. I had a balcony room with a view of the Gulf, which was breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. The breakfast area is nice, but breakfast is not included in your room rate. There is a computer / business work area with a PC and a Mac. They are pretty well "locked down", which is understandable from a cybersecurity perspective, but which made it a bit difficult to accomplish simple tasks like editing a PowerPoint presentation. The bed and TV were both very nice and relaxing. The room also had a lounging chair with a laptop tray which I made good use of during my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The dinner was a disaster and it is still going on. Seated for ten minutes without being served. Ordered our food an hour ago and still waiting for our food. People who came after us are served with food. It seemed like they are under-staffed on thanksgiving night, but still this is very unacceptable. Management offered apology and rebate. Will not eat at the restaurant for dinner again.
Other hotel features? Sorry, our experience is already ruined by the first dinner.
Great hotel! Great views! They were still finishing the Tiki Bar, so drinks were limited. Ocean view deck with outdoor seats and fire pit, separated from the pool and lazy river with a beautiful waterfall. Lounging chairs were placed on the beach to relax by the shore. They offer a nice breakfast buffet with a good variety for a fair price. I would definitely stay there again.
New hotel, modern and super clean. Sits on a beautiful beach with a huge pool complex and hot tub. Fantastic views ocean side from nice sized balconies. Friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend this hotel!
We recently had my son wedding rehearsal dinner and after party at the Garden Hilton and absolutely loved it. Everyone with the Hilton made sure all of our needs were met. Everything looked fabulous and very clean. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. A special thank you to J R Page and Jessica for helping plan and make our day perfect. Five star service and accommodation! Highly recommend the Garden Hilton.
