1. Convenient location
8. MOST cashier's and front end employees are genuinely friendly and helpful.
2. Parking lot is barely lit as well. The entire exterior of the store gives the impression that the store is no longer open. I don't mean closed for the night, I mean it has closed permanently. It IS an actual Kmart that is open until 9pm or 10pm depending upon time of year and also day of week.
3. No crowds to deal with
4. Lack of available employees to provide any assistance what so ever when shopping. Unless your appearance is stereotyped by the asset protection person that is. Then, you will be basically followed around the store by different employees that are in different departments. Leave toys and enter electronics and you will be greeted with a smile so fake that their teeth will sparkle and a bell will ding as they approach you. Plus, you will hear a security zone scan come over the all store interested telling employees that the exchange from the previous zone to the new zone. You'll know when you are being suspected of shop lifting.....
7. Fast checkout at registers
5. Coupons for additional savings on everyday type products
5. Customers are not priority, even at the Customer Service Desk.
There aren't a lot of Kmart's left. I find myself running in when I need a variety of items like detergent, cleaning supplies, odd things that I need and don't want to go to Lowe's or home Depot.. The clothing in store are decent. It's a reasonable place to buy the item I stated above. I use a points card and surprisingly rack up a good amount on store dollars. They also have dry goods, cearal, beer, wine some refrigerator items, hardware, tools, small appliance, etc.... The staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are good and I can find some good deals most of the time. Unusually, I don't like to shop at these type of stores but I really like to shop there. I expect that I'll get a reasonable prices and find what I'm looking for. I'm hoping they don't go out of business as most of the other Kmart's have.
1. Sign is not lit at night making it difficult to find because store is hard to see from street which has 3 lanes of traffic traveling in both directions.
3. Interior of store follows the exterior when it comes to initial impression. You will think that the store is no longer receiving freight to restock the shelves, in most of the individual departments such as sporting goods, automotive, furniture, and especially electronics.
POSITIVES:
I love this store. It is quite and I feel comfortable and safe while shopping. I find the best deals and good quality items all around.
4.Shop your way points
6. Great for quick trips.
Frequent shopper at this location since it is very convenient.
9. Seasonal clearance pricing.
2. Competitive pricing
Love the points system, I like to shop there throughout the year and at Christmas as a nice bonus, use my added up points! Shopping for free, well almost!
Negatives:
I don't usually leave reviews but I must say the customer service I received last night was outstanding. A gentleman named Chet was very helpful. It's nice dealing with people like Chet that give great customer service.
